Welcome Center

In February 2011, Casa de Tierra began constructing a Welcome Center for a private community in San Juan del Sur. The project showcases an alternative foundation system, earthbag walls, bamboo partition walls, natural plasters, milk-based paints tinted with local, colorful clays, linseed oil finishes, a stone and earthen floor, and a rancho roof with local clay tiles.
